At first blush it may seem like PCT has simply thrown up our hands and said, “That’s it COVID-19, we give up, you win.”  But nothing could be farther from the truth.

Let me reiterate what I have said ever since this virus raised its ugly head and the pandemic began.  Safety is paramount. It is our number one priority.  I am referring to your safety and the safety of our actors and backstage crew.

We WANT to be onstage performing for you!  We are theatre people. Actors want to act.  That is who we are and what we do.  But. We are not going to put your safety in jeopardy, nor are we going to put our own safety in jeopardy.

Our board of directors has been researching ways to safely open our doors and raise our curtain once again.  But every time we make plans, that nasty virus forces us to abandon our plans and start over.  We are simply not going to ask you to come back to the theatre until we can say with absolute certainty that it is safe to do so.

You have stood by us through other difficult situations and other difficult times and we thank you for your patience and understanding through this pandemic.  We will be back, and when we do, we will be better than before.

Thank you for your understanding and your continued support.  Together we will get through this.
